Weyerhaeuser Grant

The Howard County Children’s Center has been awarded a $6,000 grant from the Weyerhaeuser Giving fund  to create a community cardboard recycling program.

KAB/Coca Cola Recycle Bins

HCCC Holds T-Shirt Fundraiser for Relay For Life

Clients with the Howard County Children’s Center recently helped to sell t-shirts as a fundraiser for the local Relay for Life and donated $949 to the cause.

HCCC Receives Recycling Grant From Weyerhaeuser

HCCC Celebrates 40 Years of Service

Recycling center opens in Southwestern Arkansas

A $22,000 grant from ADEQ’s Solid Waste & Recycling Grants Program, administered by Upper SW RSWMD (Regional Solid Waste Material District) from Nashville, AR was approved to fund a recycling drop-off collection center to be located at Millwood State Park. The collection center will benefit a SW Arkansas 3 county region (Little River, Howard & Hempstead) and will be open to the public. The collection center is prepared to handle 4 recyclable items in separate bins: Paper (newspaper/magazines/office paper), Cardboard, Plastic bottles and Aluminum cans.
